چه چیزی هست که باعث می شه یه ترانه تبدیل به یه اسطوره بشه؟
ترانه ی While My Guitar Gently Weeps بیست و دوم نوامبر سال 1968 پخش شد،

وقتی جورج در خانه ی مادرش داشت کتاب I Ching رو می خوند این فکرو کرد که در فرهنگ شرقی هر چیزی به چیز دیگه ربط داره و هر اتفاقی در فرهنگ شرقی دلیلی داره در حالی که در فرهنگ غربی اونها رو فقط به چشم یه اتفاق نگاه می کنن، پس با خودش فکر کرد که هر کتابی رو که دید بازش کنه و راجع به اولین کلمه هایی رو که در اون کتاب می بینه یه ترانه بنویسه، جورج کتابی رو باز کرد و اولین کلمه هایی که دید "Gently Weeps" بودند (به معنای گریه ی ملایم) ، به محض دیدن این کلمه ها،جورج شروع به نوشتن ترانه می کنه و عمرا" فکرشم نمی تونست بکنه که این آهنگ یه روز تبدیل به یه اسطوره می شه!البته جورج هریسون تو ترانه ی اولیه که نوشته بود تغییراتی داد.
Eric Clapton هم در اجرای این آهنگ لید گیتار رو به عهده گرفت.
