How Schools Assess You

hey guys watup? you know, about two weeks ago i was kinda workin on a piece to play for ma teacher n i was lookin for something to tell me what theyre lookin for n i didn really find anything!

so yesterday i finaaalllly performed n i got a rubric which im gonna post it up for those of you lookin for it!

p. s. this is a general assessment for highschool students. It's out of 100 (or level 4) and im writing the level 4 one. so yea here it is

Technical accuracy/Rythmic accuracy
notes and rythms are very good with few errors, ensemble is correct throughout the performance. Music is played with ease and confidence. Excellent tempo control.

Tone and Quality
tuning and tone quality are very good. Full breath support is noted in all passages (im in the strings section so im not sure whats meant by FULL BREATH, but i guess its for the brass n woodwinds)

Articulation
articulations are clear and detailed

Expression
musical performance. contrasts enhance the overall quality of the music. style is strongly developed and appropriate for this piece

Presentation/Written work
very well prepared presentation. posture is excellent and assists in the achievement of a secure performance. strongly evidence of rehearsal on this solo is noted and music is accurately edited
